Cafè Martesana

One of the most special places that only Milan can offer: the fascinating Cafè Martesana! A family bar near the historical Cassina de’ Pomm (Apple farmstead). From the bar, you can enjoy the landscape and the view of Naviglio Martesana, which inspired the name of the bar itself.

Here nature shows all its beauty thanks to wisteria trees and colorful flowers. Martesana river and the Leonardo bridge create a more suggestive atmosphere. According to the legend, this bridge allowed Renzo (character of the novel Promessi Sposi) to cross the river during his escape from Milan.

This place is perfect for families and children, but also for students/workers that are looking for a moment of relax during lunch.
At Cafè Martesana you will always have the chance to relax for a while… maybe under a big suggestive tree!
