This is one of the most particular churches in Milan. What about its name? The inner chapel walls are fully decorated with skulls and bones belonging to people sentenced to death or victims of the plague. If you are too little we advise you not to go in, but if you are grown up enough to be fascinated by these horror images, do go in!

We don’t want to tell you anything else… Just one thing more to keep terrorizing you: a spooky legend has it that on 2nd November, All Souls’ Day night, the bones of a little girl – on the left of the altar – are magically brought back to life. She heads a stream of skeletons, dancing all night long… What a fright! Rumour has it that some people heard bones creaking! Help! Every man for himself!
