On July, 5th a new cycle path has been inaugurated: it runs along Via d’Acqua Nord, going from Garbagnate Milanese to Expo. In fact, now it’s possible to reach Expo also by bike and, as you know, manoxmano prefers transports that do not pollute our planet!
Passing through the amazing Parco delle Groane, admiring nature and trees on your beloved bike, pedaling up to Rho Fiera and, once you reached Expo, enjoying a beautiful day discovering other cultures and traditional dishes.
Isn’t it incredible? You don’t need an airplane in order to live the beauty of the world. You just need your bike!
700 cyclists inaugurated this new 8 kilometer-long cycle path, enjoying the beautiful view of this park. Once they got to Expo, they have been welcomed by the Commissioner of Expo Milan 2015 Giuseppe Sala together with the Chairman of Consorzio Villoresi Alessandro Folli, the Chairman of the Parco delle Groane Roberto Della Rovere and all the mayors of the towns crossed by the new cycle path: Michela Palestra for Arese, Francesco Vassallo for Bollate, Piermauro Pioli for Garbagnate Milanese, Alberto Landonio for Linate, Serena La Placa for Pero and Pietro Romano for Rho.
A very nice way to collaborate in order to create new projects not only for Expo, but also for the future itself: a sort of long-term alliance!
Here the map of the cycle path!
